Latest Project: Santa Monica Brew Works

Our latest release was a total blast! We had so much fun putting this together for a great client.

Santa Monica Brew Works was looking for an implementation of a fresh redesign that matched the vibe of their business. The redesign includes elements that immediately allure you to the beautiful beaches and surf that make up the Santa Monica community.

Highlights of the new site includes:

Food Truck Listing and Beer List

What’s better than a great beer to wash down some tasty food?  With a constant rotation of food options, the combinations are endless!

The Beer List has a text area easily modified through the page builder.  However, because of the nature of the Food Truck listing; we wanted to give them an easy way to maintain the list.

The custom fields plugin is a great way to define and manage repeatable data.  We created a Food Truck custom field and assigned it to the home page. This gave their events manager the ability to easily maintain their continual list of food trucks.

Brews List

Designed as a gallery, the brews list shows off their tasty beverages and gives fans the ability to find a beer that fits their taste.  Clicking on a can will slide the viewer to the individual beer details.

Beer fanatics love to know the delicious details behind the beer.  Individual beer information includes a description, and ABV (alcohol by volume) so they can always make an bodacious beer selection

Events and Social Media

Integrating with their social media pages; visitors can see the latest Facebook Posts, Facebook Events, and Instagram images by SMBW.

Press Page

Similar to the Food Truck solution, we gave SMBW an easy way to add to their press coverage.

The editor gives them the ability to quickly add a release date, outlet name, URL image, and description.

accessiBe

Website accessibility is vital to a successful business.  Not only are you limiting customers by not having an accessible site, but it could cost a business that is not accessible a lot of money.  Lawsuits against businesses not having an accessible site have increased over the last couple of years with the most important example being against Domino’s Pizza .

The good news that it’s now easier than ever to make a website accessible!  Santa Monica Brew Works chose the solution from accessiBe.  The solution takes only minutes to install and within 48 hours your site will be fully compliant.
